A WEIRD WEEK

Hey guys! Let me explain to you why this was a weird week...

On Tuesday we had Christmas Conference, so we spent the day at the Mission home. That day consisted of some Workshops, a Gift Exchange, a bunch of games, and they let us watch The Greatest Showman! :) It was a really fun day! And I got to see all my good friends from the MTC. It was nice to catch up with them and spend the day with them.

The following day was pretty rough. The entire East side of the mission had LBM from the food at Christmas Conference. Elder Weaver and I struggled to work that day hahaha. But we were able to get some stuff done so that's good!

Then we had Zone Interviews, so another day where our proselyting time was cut short. Zone Interviews was good though, we heard a lot of good news regarding the people we are teaching and so on :)

And then Elder Weaver and I were still kind of sick, we spent the whole week sick pretty much. But we were able to do something that I never thought possible! We found this former investigator of the Sisters that we were looking for since I arrived in Mapandan! Elder Weaver and I were beginning to think she didn't exist haha!

Also, I want to tell you guys about this person we are teaching! Her name is Merylle, she's super fun to talk to haha. She's good at English, so we speak a lot of English! Her accent is super funny though haha. And Elder Weaver and I are teaching her these English phrases that no one uses and then we tell her that they're common! Like "the bees knees" and "the cats pajamas" hahaha. It's super fun! haha
